American Outlaws: Akron

The American Outlaws are a supporters group for the US Men's National Soccer Team and there are chapters in a growing number of cites all over the country. 

This is an updated design I created for the American Outlaws Akron, Ohio chapter which was adopted for a t-shirt, scarf, vinyl decals and embroidered patches. This design utilizes well-known elements of the history of Akron. t was once the center of the rubber industry...and the iconic Goodyear Blimp is still in service to this day. I wanted to pay homage to the history using these elements that are instantly recognizable.
